Look of the Day: Taylor Swift’s Princess Ball Gown

As if Taylor Swift wasn't already a country princess, the songstress channeled Cinderella for the Nashville Symphony Ball to receive the event's Harmony award.
Taylor never misses the mark on the red carpet or the street; whether it's the brilliance of her stylist or her own refined aesthetic, I never find myself disapointed by the talent's choices. The frothy skirt of the dress might not have worked for someone of a shorter stature, but Taylor used her height to her advantage with this Reem Acra fairy tale number.
Most notably, the country star recently made a bang chop—a hair risk that many, including myself, fear attempting. Taylor's bravery paid off and her sweet face-framing 'do looked perfectly elegant for the occasion. I imagine there will be a spur of Swift fans rushing to their stylist with these photos in hand (perhaps a reaction similar to the one set in motion by Reese Witherspoon's bangs last year).
Some might argue that Taylor's Symphony Ball look needed more accessories than her crystal tear-drop earrings, but I would disagree. A minimalist at heart, I prefer letting the dress speak for itself.
