Just when we thought cutouts and deep-Vs couldn't get any hotter, Elizabeth Banks took the two trends to a whole new level for the People Like Us premiere at the LA Film Festival.
What makes this flashy J. Mendel number particularly fabulous is the amalgamation of so many of our favorite design elements: a charming '50s silhouette, scandalous slivers of skin and a futuristic gold-flecked fabric. Pretty much everything you want in one little dress.
Elizabeth took the fall out of the Fall 2012 look by choosing strappy Giuseppe Zanotti heels and coordinating metallic accessories instead of the black opaque tights and fur-trimmed gloves worn by the runway model. Her tight French twist also helped bring the daring design back down to earth.
From spiderweb jumpsuits to canary yellow sequined gowns, this gal always pushes the fashion envelope in the most splendid way possible.
