Perhaps Christian Dior's Bill Gaytten had Diane Kruger in mind when he designed this picturesque windowpane gown for Dior's Spring 2012 couture show. Only someone with her red carpet prowess could really pull off this look. And did she ever.
The fitted bodice and extravagant bustle paired with such a charming print made for a "Scarlett O'Hara goes to Paris" effect. The design was a favorite in a collection of nostalgic silhouettes and sheer structured fabric.
Surprisingly Diane was, in fact, able to sit down in this number. While a french twist would have been apropos, she went with a simple ponytail—yet another testament to her je ne sais quoi.
