Leave it to La La Vazquez Anthony to come out with her own line of cosmetics. The busy producer, actress, reality television personality, wife and mother has an obvious love of makeup. She's known for wearing delicious shades of berry-colored lipstick along with shimmering shadows and luxuriously long lashes.
La La broke the news via Twitter, announcing, "Guess what's coming in 2012!!...*sneak peak...giggles*." She also posted a picture featuring an array of makeup products that appear to include lipstick, lip gloss, blush and eyeshadow in a broad range of colors. We noticed pale baby pink to rich aubergine and every hue in between.
We also noticed a lack of foundations, concealers and powders. However, The Insider reports, "...her line will have a major focus on foundations to match all ethnic skin tones from light to dark." It seems that La La's interest in creating foundations is due to a common problem faced by many women of color: limited availability of appropriate shades. Hopefully the new collection should arrive sometime in February.
