Billie Joe Armstrong Kicked Off Flight for… Saggy Pants?!?

He didn't piss in an aisle. And he didn't allege racism. But Billie Joe Armstrong was still kicked off a flight this week - and you won't believe why.

According to the Green Day singer, he was tossed off a Southwest flight from Oakland to Burbank because his pants were loose. Armstrong Tweeted today: "Just got kicked off a southwest flight because my pants sagged too low! What the f(asterisk)(asterisk)(asterisk)? No joke!"

A producer from ABC was actually on board the flight, according to Fox News, and says Armstrong replied by asking the attendant if there weren't "better things to do than worry about that?"

But the employee persisted, told the artist he could be taken off the plane if he did not comply... and that's exactly what happened!

Southwest spokesman Brad Hawkins subsequently released a statement that confirmed an incident took place, but added Armstrong was permitted on the next flight to Burbank and told a customer relations agent that he had no other complaints.

"As soon as we became aware of what had happened, we reached out to apologize for this Customer's experience," the statement read. "He elected to take the next flight. We followed up with this Customer and involved Employees to get more details and, in our latest conversations, understand from the Customer the situation was resolved to his satisfaction."
